Soon after moving to Denver in 2013, Krystal felt the desire to surround herself with career-oriented women who had a similar drive towards personal development and growth. After visiting a number of associations that didn't fit her vision for connection, she made the decision to start her own, launching a regular meeting under the name "Women of Denver," at local coffee shops in Uptown and Five Points.
As the network grew, so did the mission. Krystal learned that her personal struggles with negotiating pay and earning her worth were shared by many of the members, so she took the leap to make Women of Denver part of the solution. Today, Women of Denver's curriculum is dedicated to helping women develop key business skills and build confidence to help them believe in their value and earn their worth as employees and entrepreneurs. Krystal has performed at TEDx, and has been featured in Forbes and The Denver Business Journal among her many accolades. |
Launched in Fall 2017, Women of Denver's quarterly print & digital magazine shares inspiring stories about women making an impact. Our contributors provide insights to help women succeed in their corporate careers, share tips for women in entrepreneurship, and explore solutions to challenges facing women in Colorado and around the globe. Online each issue sees 20,000-35,000 readers. |
