Do you wish you had a team to talk through challenges and help you navigate to reach your objectives?
The Power Women Peer Group at Women of Denver is a resource for women seeking peer-to-peer mentorship and camaraderie. Groups meet once per month to strategize together and are committed to supporting each other in achieving their career or business objectives.
It’s like having a board of directors to walk the path with you.
HOW ARE MEMBERS ASSIGNED TO GROUPS?
Selected applicants will be assigned to groups of 5-8 members. Members will be selected for groups based on career level, availability, and skillset. Separate groups will be created for career women and entrepreneurs. Matches will be made using information submitted on this form. Our goal is to create a diverse group that will offer each other access to unique skills and perspectives. Groups will be created on a rolling basis starting April 1, 2020 as new applicants are submitted that match potential cohorts.
WHAT ARE THE MEETINGS LIKE?
Each group will meet monthly at the same time and location for 2 hours. Gatherings will be led by the peer-group facilitator. Members will be given time to talk about their personal objectives and receive feedback from the group. The goal of each meeting is to progress each person's individual goals by finding appropriate resources, committing to supporting each other, and setting priorities that will move the needle.
