What do people often thank you for?
Most people thank me for communicating quickly, and being patient with helping my clients understand my services since the technology aspect can get confusing and complicated.
What's been inspiring you lately?
I've been inspired by the working nomad lifestyle. There are tons of people out there these days who travel full time all over the place, and work remotely while doing it! My husband and I hope to do the same within the next two years.
What do you love most about Women of Denver?
I love that it's a very positive and uplifting group of women, and I love being able to meet so many inspiring and motivated individuals at every event.
What unique impact do you make on the world through your work?
I help business owners learn more about how to reach new customers through online platforms, like their websites and social media. While a majority of my work is managing their accounts, a key part of how I do business is guiding them through the process so they can understand how to tell their story and achieve their goals, rather than just doing it for them without an explanation.
Tell us about a recent accomplishment you're proud of?
Last summer, I had a very new client who (after only working together for three weeks) told me her husband landed his dream job and so they'd be moving to a new state on the other side of the country. Since the work I do for her is increasing her website's rank on Google, this was going to be a big challenge I had never tried before: getting a website that was previously doing well in one location to start performing well in a new location hundreds of miles away!
We immediately got to re-working her blog strategy so we could begin ranking for the new state. This past January, the number one channel of website traffic was coming from organic search engine results. To top it off, the website had 81% more visitors from her new state than her old one in the fourth quarter of 2017!
What actions do you take to support and empower other women?
I help provide advice and education whenever I can, especially in many of the online women's groups I'm in. I believe that knowledge is so vitally important in succeeding as a business owner, so I always strive to be a resource of useful information whenever possible.
