At the first quarterly networking party of the year, Women of Denver hosted a diverse panel of local leaders to share tips to help women achieve success.

Panelists included Alicia Cuello, CEO of Underlying Communications and expert in the art of non-verbal communication; Danielle Norris, CEO of Sovenco, specializing in scaling social enterprise business models, and Leslie Huddart, Owner of Body Wisdom Wellness, a practitioner specialising in natural healing techniques.

The event consisted of a series of 15 minute “mini-workshop” activities meant to spark ideation, and connection amongst event goers. Activities for the evening included:

  • A collaborative team activity asking groups to evaluate businesses to determine if they qualify as a social enterprise business
  • Body language training meant to help attendees increase credibility and land a high level job interview or sales meeting
  • Partner exercises emphasizing the importance of listening to their bodies and being more conscious of our physical and emotional needs for optimum wellness.
