Everyone knows what a makeover is. That's when we take our external appearance (hair, makeup, style) and try to make it match how we feel inside. If you've ever seen an episode of "What Not to Wear," you know how transformational it can be. An internal image makeover is much less common, but no less transformational. Internal image is the way we present ourselves from the inside out. It means being in tune with our bodies, learning to be vulnerable, and finding true authenticity. Lindy Royer and Debbie Cristofano from Park Meadows Pilates and Physical Therapy led the Women of Denver on a journey to explore our physical presence, and understand how being in tune with our bodies can lead us to become the influential leaders we were meant to be. We started with an icebreaker that allowed us to meet every woman in the room. Then, we each shared a positive story from our childhood to bring us closer. Later, Lindy shared several anecdotes to help us understand the concepts of body/mind connection, inner wisdom, presence, and authenticity. And finally, we learned grounding, tapping, and levelling up - which helped us take control of our energy. At the very end, we came together for a Women of Denver chant!
