We spoke with Debbie Sipowicz, Founder of Creatively Empowered, who has had a long journey to become the inspirational leader and consultant that she is today. During our interview, Debbie shares the story of how she went from trying to be the extrovert whom she saw gaining successes in life, to realizing her skills and experience were all she needed to be her authentic self and inspire others to do the same. According to Debbie her experiences shaped the leader that she is today. Some of these experiences include: Servant leadership came to Debbie as she endeavoured to provide her children with the best possible education to help them become successful. Through homeschooling her children, Debbie found that focusing on the success of others taught her this valuable lesson in leadership. Becoming an expert is a task that many struggle with, but according to Debbie we all already are and it is the process of learning to become comfortable with this term that many struggle with most. A new kind of leader is accepting the role that you play - appreciating yourself for your contribution and being yourself authentically.
