If you're looking at this page, chances are you're passionate about hosting events, having powerful discussions with women, and creating a safe space for others to connect and develop.
If those characteristics speak to you, we want to talk.
We're looking for event hosts to help us expand our group into new neighborhoods and even some of our Denver area suburbs. This is a brand new program that we're going to be rolling out soon, so to get on our list for consideration simply fill out the form below.
What does this look like for you? 1) We'll post your events on our platforms and promote you as the host along with your business name. 2) On event day, attendees will show up at your office for the workshop, talk, or discussion group you've planned. 3) You or a speaker you select will present an activity and discussion-filled event for the group.
The best part is we do all of the heavy lifting. Our members are on our event pages regularly to seek out events they'd like to attend, which means you get to tap into a community that's already engaged and ready to connect with you. We do want you to help promote your events, but we'll handle the posting, notifications and event reminders.
As for the speakers, ideally you would present a new topic each time you host an event -- yes, you're the star of your party. If you'd rather have a variety of speakers each time, we can connect you with WOD members who can teach workshops on the topics you'd like to see presented at your events. At WOD we rarely bring in outside speakers, so if you'd like to bring an outsider in please let us know and we can discuss it as a team.
Your first event will be hosted by a WOD leadership team member, so we can introduce and launch you as a new chapter. After that, we'll visit here and there and send feedback cards to attendees to make sure everything is going well. We'll share feedback with you and work with you to continue to refine your events to continue driving attendance.
Criteria: - You'll need to have access to a regular event space that offers privacy for conversations (without loud noises) and basic creature comforts such as a clean bathroom, and a water fountain. Proximity to public transportation is a plus. - You should be available to host at least 4 events per year (once per quarter). - You'll need a wifi-connection, and a mobile device or laptop to take registrations at the door. - You'll need to be willing to learn to use our Wild Apricot event management software and square's POS software.
