What do you love most about WOD?
The connections of other women and how enriched and amazing all the other women are. That they are not just a lump of other women grouped together that they all are amazing, empowering and inspiring women that have all come together for very powerful reasons.
Tell us about a recent accomplishment you're proud of.
I recently did an online Mindfulness training to receive my MBSR Certification. It was self taught, self led and it was all dependent on me. In the middle of the course, we lost my mother in law 5 months into my newlywed marriage. I could have given up. I could have stopped.
There was no one telling me or forcing me to continue on. Instead, I kept on, did all the exercises, wrote everything down and turned in all my homework. I completed my certification and received my reward by obtaining my certification and becoming part of the MBSR Group and a Certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Practitioner! Not only did I accomplish that through that trial, it has changed life forever for me, with my family and how I handle life forever!
What else would you like us to share about you?
I believe life is short. Everyday we have is a gift, that is why it is called "The Present". I choose daily to not only love my gifts but to share them with others. I choose to be happy and positive. I choose to daily make a difference, somewhere with someone, somehow. I choose to love, laugh, live and sprinkle a little bit of fabulous on anything and everything I can. I choose to make this world a better place. A place I could leave for my posterity and be proud.
I want my life to matter. I want to help the hurt and heal the pain. I want to be the reason for your smile. I want my life here on earth to mean something. I want to change the world. This life was meant to SHINE and This life was Meant to Be Lived.
