What are three things that you hold back from doing because they make you uncomfortable?
We discussed this question and more at Suzanne Kahan's "The Keys to Empowerment" event.
Personal growth inevitably requires us to make choices that take us far past our comfort zones and into new territory in our lives. The key to doing so successfully is to fully acknowledge our fears and make a conscious choice to move past them in order to reach our goals.
Suzanne's story is one of bravery and choosing to lean into the vulnerability that accompanies change.
As Director of Operations for a large U.S. corporation Suzanne worked 12-14 hours each day, was on call 24/7 and felt her dwindling personal life needed to become a priority. That's when she made the decision to change her life and craft an existence that gave her what she needed.
Soon, Suzanne was packing her bags for Denver, Colorado where she could spend her days enjoying time with her grandson and empowering women to take leaps in life that lead them to personal passion and ultimately a better life.
The key takeaway from Suzanne's workshop was that personal empowerment starts with the smallest life choices we make everyday. By challenging ourselves to do something we're uncomfortable with, we prepare ourselves for even bigger leaps in the future.
